Idea for the revitalization of the 100. Yıl Retail Center and its Close Environment

The project was submitted to the Architectural Idea Competition for the 100. Yıl Retail Center and its Close Environment, organized by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. It was eliminated at the very last stage.

Considering that the building is located in the historical center of the capital, which is barely an attraction point for the young population, the project proposed adaptive reuse of the building. The aim of the project was to provide contemporary functions and spaces to especially the young people, who would be the main actors in the continuity of the experience and memory the space.

The building is currently on the verge of being demolished.
